A Month of Sundays presents a series of images taken in a forest, giving the observer the sensation of being immersed in it, surrounded by the branches in a sort of embrace; the sensation evoked is positive and familiar despite the impenetrability of the foliage, which deviates only in a couple of scenes, allowing a clearer view.
The sequence thus becomes a quest for immersion in nature, perhaps in an attempt to escape from the artificiality of everyday life.
The author writes: ‘Goethe said that you see in the world what you carry in your heart. This feels truer than ever.’
