Italian edition translated by Angelo Cortinovis, the book tells a children’s story represented through text, photographs and graphic inserts. The protagonist is Agossou, an African boy living in Dahomey, a small state bordering the Gulf of Guinea. The last pages of the book are devoted to a short questionnaire, which asks children several text comprehension questions, mostly related to African traditions and the comparison between them and their own country of origin.
