There is a Zen teaching that states ‘A drop of dew dwells in the universe’.

The bonsai, a traditional and fragile jewel of Japanese culture, lives and grows only by the hand of man and thanks to water collected in a small pot, in the majestic scenery of the Yatsugatake area and at the foot of Mount Fuji.

Thanks to Yamamoto’s impeccable black and white, the entire universe seems to condense into the small ecosystem of the bonsai, only to explode when confronted with the immensity of the Japanese landscape. Tiny dewdrops in the immensity of nature, bonsai trees teach us that there are still places where the pursuit of beauty is still a goal.
