Born from the interest of five friends in photography as a personal and poetic means of expression, Emanuele Canino, Alberto Castro, Daniela D’Arrigo, Alfio Garozzo and Giuseppe Pagano, the book combines as many projects with the Sicilian territory as a catalyst, documenting the rural villages of the fascist era, places from which Antonioni and Rossellini had also drawn inspiration in cinema. “The common commitment to return and return again and again to these places, the desire to unveil them, to understand them and, ultimately, to recount them, filtering them through the individual sensitivity of each, formed the core of the work that finally found expression in the book “Era Domani”.
