The small town of Baile Tusnad, Romania, was a popular holiday destination throughout the 1960s and 1970s, partly due to its thermal springs that attracted tourists for summer weeks and weekends.
The photos taken by tourists frequently portrayed a German shepherd dog, a real star in almost all the photos that came home with people passing through Baile Tusnad.
The pictures in issue 18 of In Almost Every Picture show changing faces, views of a Romanian city at the height of its splendour, and the constant of a photogenic shepherd dog whose name we do not know.
