Le désir de regarder loin (the desire to look further) is a collective project and an interdisciplinary art workshop born from a collection of desires of the northern neighborhoods of Marseille.

Conceived as an artist’s book, the catalog accompanying the exhibition at Mucem (part of the official program of Les rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles) contains many surprises.
The pochette-book collects a dozen elements that present the series realized by Ilaria Turba during the development of her work: the leporello of the ‘breads of desire’, golden paper pendants, posters of different sizes, the sketchbook of Ettore Tripodi, who collaborated in the project, the notebook of desires…

Many artifacts to witness the process of the artist’s work, her poetics and moments of sharing with the many actors involved in this adventure.
