This splendid new monograph, beautifully printed on Japanese Kasadaka paper and limited to 2,000 copies, is a celebration of Michael Kenna’s career, spanning 50 years.
Kenna selected an image for each year from 1973, when he enrolled at the Banbury School of Art, and for each year thereafter. Following the ‘Photographs’ section is ‘Stories’, in which Kenna contextualises each image and considers how it related to his life at the time.
