Six legendary Japanese publications originally came out at the turn of the 1960s and 1970s: the three (unique) issues of Provoke magazine (1968-69), Takuma Nakahira’s For a Language to Come (1970), Nobuyoshi Araki’s Sentimental Journey (1971) and Daido Moriyama’s A Farewell to Photography (1972).
The set is completed by a booklet of texts and information introduced by Swiss collector Christoph Schifferli.

More than a box set, a real treasure chest. Limited edition of 1500 copies (this is number 25) numbered by hand on a label on the inside of the lid. The object is designed by none other than Karl Lagerfeld and Gerhard Steidl.

A rare and precious object that testifies to the climate of cultural unrest and profound change in Japan at that time.
